Privacy Policy

Vendorly is a point-of-sale and small-business management service (the “Service”) operated by Staxio Labs (“we”, “us”, “our”). This policy explains what information we collect through our website and Android app, how we use it, and the choices you have. We process personal information in line with South Africa’s Protection of Personal Information Act (POPIA).

We collect information you give us and information created as you use the Service:

• Account details — your email address and password (passwords are stored securely and never in plain text).
• Business profile — business name, contact email, phone number, address, and preferred currency.
• Business data you enter — products, inventory, sales, customers, expenses, market-day events, and any product images you upload.
• Subscription & billing — your plan and subscription status. Payments are processed by our payment provider; we do not receive or store your full card details.
• Technical data — basic device and log information (such as app version and error diagnostics) needed to keep the Service running reliably.

• To provide and operate the Service and sync your data across the web and Android apps.
• To authenticate you and keep your account secure.
• To manage your subscription and plan.
• To provide support and respond to your requests.
• To diagnose problems, prevent abuse, and improve the Service.
• To comply with our legal obligations.

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use your business data for advertising.

We share information only with the providers that help us run the Service, and only as needed:

• Supabase — secure database, authentication, and file storage for your account and business data.
• PayFast — processing subscription payments on our website.
• Hosting & app distribution — our website host and the Google Play Store (for the Android app).

These providers process data on our behalf under their own security and privacy commitments.

Subscriptions are purchased and managed on our website, not inside the Android app. When you tap “Manage subscription” in the app, it opens our website in your browser so you can subscribe or make changes securely. Your plan then updates automatically across your apps.

Data is encrypted in transit, access is restricted, and each business’s data is isolated so that only your account can access it. No system is perfectly secure, but we take reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your information.

We keep your information for as long as your account is active. If you close your account or ask us to delete your data, we will delete or anonymise it within a reasonable period, except where we must keep certain records to meet legal or accounting obligations.

Under POPIA you may:

• Access the personal information we hold about you.
• Correct information that is inaccurate or out of date.
• Request deletion of your account and associated data.
• Object to certain processing or withdraw consent.

To exercise any of these rights, email support@vendorly.co.za and we will respond as required by law.

Vendorly is a business tool intended for users aged 18 and over. We do not knowingly collect information from children.

Our service providers may process and store data outside South Africa. Where this happens, we take steps to ensure your information continues to be protected in line with this policy and applicable law.

We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the “Last updated” date above and, where appropriate, notify you within the Service.
